If the water pressure is exceeding 60 psi for a long time, this could potentially be a problem. If you think you may have a leak but your aren’t certain where it is, here is a straightforward way to find out. Find your water meter, monitor and right down the level. Ensure that no one uses the water in the building for one to two hours. Then go back and look at the level. If the water level has changed, then you likely have a leak. Definitely. Ensuring your garbage disposal is working efficiently is important. In order to optimize the life of your garbage disposal, these items should not be run through your garbage disposal:

  • Potato skins
  • Bone fragments and eggshells
  • Banana peels
  • Fats / grease
  • Unpopped popcorn kernels
  • Onion skins
  • Fruit pits and seeds
  • Stringy vegetables like asparagus and celery
